Easy Walk

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what Easy Walk stores and how that data is handled when you use the app.

What We Store

Easy Walk stores the profile information you choose to add, such as your display name, profile photo, and when your profile was created.

The app also stores walk and progress data, including planned walks, routes, travel times, distances, walk history, check-ins, badge progress, ratings, and the places you have already seen in the app.

Easy Walk stores app settings too, such as your preferred number of markers, place preferences, appearance mode, and distance unit.

Location Data

If you allow location access, Easy Walk uses your device location while the app is open and for background walk features. We use location to center maps, help you pick a starting point, track progress, show nearby places, and update Live Activities during a walk.

The app keeps your most recent location in memory while you use it and stores route coordinates and completed walk paths as part of walk planning and history.

Cloud Storage

Easy Walk uses iCloud for your profile information and photo storage.

The app also saves anonymous app data in the cloud so it can sync across devices and be restored after reinstalling. This includes walk history, badges, check-ins, discovery state, and related progress data.

Maps and Place Features

Easy Walk uses Apple map and place features for place search, address lookup, nearby places, walking directions, Look Around images, and map snapshots.

The app may also cache place images on your device so they load faster later.

Generated Place Content

Easy Walk may generate short place summaries and image searches for some points of interest and route highlights using Apple features on the device.

Ads

Easy Walk uses Google AdMob to show ads in some parts of the app.

When ads are on, Google may receive device information, app and ad request data, IP address information, and similar signals used to deliver and measure ads. If you allow personalized ads, Easy Walk may also ask for Apple's tracking permission and use Google ads consent tools. If you do not allow personalized ads, Easy Walk requests non-personalized ads instead.

Purchases

Easy Walk offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock ad-free access. Apple handles the purchase, verification, and restore flow. Easy Walk only checks whether the ad-free unlock is active.

Data Sharing

Easy Walk does not sell your personal information. Your profile data stays in iCloud, and anonymous app data is stored with cloud services so it can sync and recover across devices.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored by Easy Walk remains on your device, in cached files, or in cloud storage until it is replaced, cleared inside the app, removed when you delete the app, or deleted through the relevant cloud service. Cached place images may remain on your device until the app or the system removes them.

Your Choices

You can choose whether to allow location access, add a profile photo or display name, make an in-app purchase, and allow personalized ads. If you do not allow personalization, the app shows non-personalized ads instead. You can also remove the app to stop future collection on that device.

Security

Easy Walk relies on the security protections provided by Apple and other service providers, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated if the app's data practices change. The version on this site applies from its stated effective date.
